The House

Wow! It feels like forever since I've wrote. Well the newest thing with us is our living situation. The housing here on Ellsworth AFB that we are living in is kicking Centennial off of base. The lease is up so the AF aren't signing it again. So fences will be going up to divide us off and new management will be taking over. So God guided us to the possibilities of purchasing a home. We thought, if the AF is giving us $900 a month for BAH why not invest it into a mortgage instead of  throwing it away with rent.
We hired a realtor and started looking after praying about it a few weeks. We didn't find anything that we liked right away but didn't give up faith. So we kept looking and when we walked into 112 Springer Dr. we both looked at one another and knew. This was our home. We went bank and forth with the bank that owns it and decided to reject them with hopes that they might come back to us. Well not even a week went by and we just couldn't wait. We looked at a few more homes and decided not to kid ourselves anymore. We went after the house again and they came down 8,000 more then the already below market value and we ACCEPTED!
Our closing date is on April 7th, one month from today and we have a inspection on this Wednesday. I will keep you all posted on things coming up. Prayers are appreciated, this is first home for us and we are confident that God will be with us every step of the way. Just a little nervous. Thanks for your prayers.
